INTRODUCTION

Quikr India Private Limited (Quikr) , an e-commerce and services company, was declared as the ‘Most Trusted Classifieds Brand’ in India by The Economic Times and the ‘2nd Most Trusted e-ommerce Brand’ in India by the Brand Equity Survey 2015. The Brand Equity Survey conducted by Nielsen considered 373 brands and had a sample design of 7,200 distributed across socio economic classifications, geographies, ages, and incomes. All the brands under different categories were evaluated based on feedback given by consumers on several attributes such as Satisfaction, Value for Money, Quality, and Trustworthiness.

On July 23, 2015, Quikr, which operated the leading online Consumer to Consumer (C2C) cross-category horizontal classified portal services,was valued at US$1 billion after receiving another round of fresh funding of US$150 million.
